Within the broader context of the GOLIA project, the GO-X modules form the digital infrastructure designed to support data-driven urban decision-making. Within this architecture, GO-INFO functions as the primary bridge connecting local policymakers directly with the citizenry. Rather than relying solely on traditional top-down administration, the module creates a structured dialogue that allows municipalities to gather actionable feedback, measure public reaction, and remain transparent about policy developments.

To support this interaction, GO-INFO integrates several distinct tools tailored to different stages of public engagement. The survey tool allows local authorities to collect targeted data on specific policy initiatives, offering the ability to tailor questions toward defined demographic groups or specific statistical samples. Working alongside this, the social sentiment analysis system monitors public conversations across social media platforms to gauge community sentiment on relevant urban issues. This system helps identify emerging concerns, localized problems, and practical suggestions that standard administrative tools often fail to capture.

Beyond gathering input, GO-INFO provides mechanisms for public accountability and direct involvement. The public dashboard displays clear, visual status updates on the implementation of new policies, allowing residents to track project milestones over time.
