Three-Dimensional Mobility Ecosystem Map

Concepts and Solutions for Socially Optimised Mobility Systems establishes the project’s foundational Three-Dimensional Mobility Ecosystem Map. Bringing together behavioral insights (through developed Personas), innovative mobility solutions and governance frameworks, the deliverable explores how cities can design mobility systems that are not only efficient and sustainable, but also socially inclusive and responsive to diverse user needs.

Drawing on extensive research, stakeholder validation and case studies from all over Europe, the report identifies user personas, evaluates emerging mobility practices and technologies, and analyses the governance conditions needed to support a fair and resilient mobility transition.

The findings will serve as a key input for the development of the Social Optimum Mobility Index (SOMI), agent-based modelling activities and the GOLIA digital platform, helping cities navigate the complex relationship between people, mobility innovations and decision-making processes.
